About

I’m a recently graduated Apparel design student from portland fashion institute. Over the course of my studies and through my past work in designer retail, I’ve developed a particular interest in high-end womenswear, coinciding with a deep appreciation for textiles, especially products of natural fibers and unconventional fiber compositions. That appreciation of materials comes second only to my principled belief in the undying, unsurpassed value of passionate, rigorous human labor.

My design philosophy is based on these essential elements, that modest, ordinary garment designs transform into objects of intangible beauty when they are brought out of high-quality textiles through labor intensive seam work. The handling of fibers, the subtleties of colors, the elegant transmutations and syntheses that assimilate a singular garment into an outfit or collection – these are the aspects of the design craft that animate my fulfillment.
